Considered one of the best show bands in the Midwest, the Upson Downs consisted of several outstanding musicians who came from different groups. They operated out of the Okoboji area and performed for nearly twenty years. They were inducted into the Iowa R&R Music Association "Hall of Fame" in 2010.
