Formed in 1971 in a farm house near Garretson, South Dakota, the Wonderland Band was signed by the Jimmy Thomas agency and toured all over the Midwest. The group consisted of musicians from several popular bands in the area. They wrote much of their own material and also recorded at a studio in Otho, Iowa
