In 1964 the Continentals formed in Watertown, South Dakota and a year later changed their name to the 4th Demension. They were inspired by groups like the Red Dogs and Flippers. In 1967 they performed with Bobby Vee  at the premier of his movie, "C'mon Let's Live a Little"
