For many years KIMM radio, 1150 on the dial, was the rock and roll radio station in the Black Hills area. They were located in Rapid City but their broadcasts could be heard for many miles. Many disc jockeys got their start at KIMM and went on to larger markets. Although they now play country music, KIMM can still be found at 1150 on the dial.
