This band was assembled in 1960 in Tripp, SD to play for their Grandpa Hirsch's retirement (in Yankton). Several members would be inducted into the SD Rock and Roll Music Association a few years later. Pictured are John Hirsch-Drums, Dick Fredricks-Sax, George Ewing-Trombone, Cheryl Carnahan-Piano, Brian Brosz-Trombone, Dan Weber and Jim Uttecht-Trumpet. Hirsch, Weber, and Uttecht would be inducted with The Postmen in 2016, and Brosz with Nickel Bag of Soul.
